About the role: We are looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Landscaper to work on construction projects based in Ashmore and surrounding areas. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the trade, including constructing and maintaining outdoor spaces, working with materials like pavers, retaining walls, and plants, and preparing sites for landscaping. You’ll also complete a nationally recognised qualification: Certificate III in Landscape Construction (AHC30920), setting the foundation for a rewarding career in landscaping. Why join us? About the role: This position involves a combination of customer service, technical expertise, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting workshop operations, ensuring customers receive the right parts and excellent service. This role provides variety and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, from handling front-desk responsibilities to assisting in the warehouse with stock control and deliveries when needed. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering a positive experience by providing product information, pricing, and assistance with orders. The position also requires attention to detail to ensure accurate invoicing, and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to part compatibility or availability. This is a dynamic role that blends hands-on involvement with clerical responsibilities, making it ideal for someone with a passion for the automotive industry and strong organisational skills. Key responsibilities: Customer Support: Assist mechanics, workshop professionals, and the general public in identifying and purchasing the correct spare parts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Inventory Management: Conduct regular stocktake, maintain accurate records, and ensure parts availability by managing inventory systems. Workshop Software Use: Efficiently handle invoicing, bookings, and record-keeping tasks using workshop management software. Sales & Reception Duties: Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, process sales transactions, and manage reception tasks with professionalism and efficiency. Technical Knowledge Application: Leverage your understanding of spare parts and workshop operations to provide technical advice and support to customers. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, while also being capable of working independently when required. About you: Prior experience in a similar Spare Parts Interpreter or Receptionist role. Brake Industry Experience  Strong understanding of automotive parts and workshop processes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in using workshop or inventory management software. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
